Michael Kent was the pen name of James Chapman Andrews (1881–1957), a British writer born in Kent, England. He published magazine fiction under this name, including ghost and crime stories, and co-wrote at least one novel with his wife Mary Kent (Mabel Mary Powell Buckey Andrews, 1877–?). Ash-Tree Press reprinted his story "Reconstruction" in Annual Macabre 2005: Haven't I Read This Before?
