Swan River Press was founded in Rathmines, Dublin, in 2003 by Brian J. Showers.

The press is dedicated to gothic, fantastic, strange, and supernatural literature, with a special emphasis on Ireland's past and present contributions to the field.

Its logo derives from the riverine face on the keystone above Rathmines Town Hall, a local emblem the press has made its own.

The Swan River Press database is currently under development and will be available soon.

We are working to compile a useful catalog of Swan River Press publications, including editions, publication details, and collector-oriented notes where available.
