About Ghost Story Press

Ghost Story Press appeared in 1993, founded by David Tibet and Richard Dalby. The press returned to print many of the rarest volumes in weird fiction, as well as publishing several new collections. Tibet is a member of the band Current 93 and a weird fiction enthusiast; Dalby was a noted anthologist, bibliographer, collector, and dealer in weird fiction.

On its tenth anniversary in late 2003, Ghost Story Press ceased publishing. The final titles were They Might Be Ghosts and a corrected reissue of Tales of the Grotesque. Durtro Press, also founded by David Tibet, continued related publishing activities separately.
