Thomas Tryon (1926-1991) was an American author best known for several science fiction, horror and mystery novels. An extensive critical analysis of Tryon’s horror novels can be found in S.T. The novel was adapted as a film the following year. Harvest Home (1973) was about the dark pagan rituals being practiced in a small New England town. He was also an actor.
