Peter Straub (b. 1943) is the author of eighteen novels. They include Ghost Story, Koko, Mr X, two collaborations with Stephen King, The Talisman and Black House, and his most recent, A Dark Matter. E edited the Library of America’s edition of H. Ovecraft’s Tales and their two-volume anthology, American Fantastic Tales. He has won the British Fantasy Award, nine Bram Stoker Awards, two International Horror Guild Awards, and four World Fantasy Awards.
